Some common issues that may benefit from treatment are: neck/back pain and tension; headaches; sleep or energy issues; sports injuries; concussion symptoms; injuries from car accidents; repetitive strain injuries; joint or muscle pain; digestive or respiratory discomfort; pre- and post-natal support and jaw dysfunction.
Techniques used in osteopathy treatments include visceral (organ) mobilization, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, muscle energy, and joint mobilization.
Lyndsay uses an osteopathic approach during massage treatments, which means that treatment will differ from a traditional massage therapy session.
Lyndsay is an active member of OsteopathyBC (OBC), an osteopathic association promoting a high standard of osteopathy in BC. Lyndsay has been on the board of directors since 2013, has served as the treasurer since 2014 and is involved with the Membership Services Committee and Advertising Committee. Lyndsay has also served on the board of directors for the Canadian Federation of Osteopaths.
